The Rewild Play Hub
A place to slow down, reconnect and play, together.
The Rewild Play Hub is a welcoming indoor–outdoor play space where children and families are invited to spend unhurried time in nature. Designed with both children and parents in mind, it’s a place to explore freely, play deeply, and simply be.
Set within our enclosed meadow and cosy log cabin at Tiddlypeeps, the Rewild Play Hub offers families a safe, nurturing environment where children can roam, climb, create and imagine — while adults relax, connect or join in at their own pace.
This is not structured entertainment.
It’s real play, rooted in nature.
What is the Rewild Play Hub?
The Rewild Play Hub is a safe nature space open to families, carers and childminders. Sessions are gently facilitated but child-led, allowing children the freedom to follow their interests while adults feel supported and welcome.
Children might:
-
climb, balance and build outdoors
-
make dens, mud potions or imaginary worlds
-
explore loose parts and natural materials
-
curl up with a book or enjoy quiet play in the log cabin
Parents might:
-
relax in a calm, beautiful environment
-
connect with other families
-
observe their child’s play and development
-
enjoy being part of the experience, without pressure
Our Space
The Play Hub includes:
-
An enclosed outdoor meadow for free movement and exploration
-
A warm, welcoming log cabin with natural toys, books and cosy corners
-
Open-ended, natural resources such as wood, fabric, loose parts and real tools
-
Calm areas for rest, conversation and quiet play
Everything is intentionally chosen to feel grounding, inviting and uncluttered — supporting deep play, creativity and emotional regulation.
How Sessions Work
-
Sessions are open-ended and child-led
-
Parents remain responsible for their children
-
Our team are present to welcome, support and gently hold the space
-
There is no fixed agenda, children choose how they play and where they spend their time
We encourage families to bring their own snacks and drinks and to wear suitable outdoor clothing, whatever the weather.
